Default wrangler unlimited, son of FJ55

The folks at Jeep seem to find inspiration in the Land Cruisers
of the 1970's, particularly the FJ55 wagon.

2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (SEMA 2006 concept vehicle)

The concept vehicle is equipped with the Mercedes 3.0L V6
turbo diesel. It's the same engine that will appear in a couple
of months in the Grand Cherokee. Hmmmm.

    Default Dakar

If you had been fan of anything "Jeep" over the years, you might recognize this "issue" of a 4-door, steel top Wrangler as the "Dakar." It has been around
the drawing boards at Jeep for a few years now. It is another temptation that we may never see but can still "wish for!" Something in the same category as another Jeep pick-up or a concept like the Rescue.

If I recall correctly, the Dakar did go into production in the form of the Liberty, which was stated to share design cues with both the Jeepster and Dakar concepts. I personally would've preferred the Dakar to go into production as is, however. That is ExPo chic!

The dakar as a 4-door TJ based vehicle would've been amazing, really think Moparts missed the boat on that one.

    Default Millen Retro Cruiser

That's a photo of Rod Millen's Retro Cruiser.
Start with an FJ45 wagon, saw it down the
centerline, install a toyota 4.7L V8, build in
12 inches of ground clearance, and you have
    the Retro Cruiser

    That's blasphemy!

Brush up on your Landcruiser history. That's a throwback to the '65 FJ45LV or the '60 FJ35.
