NC exploring, fishing and climbing

Spring break is comming up in a few weeks and I'm planning to spend the week around the Asheville area. All of my friends are either lame or broke so if anyone wants to meet up and hang out from March 7-13 let me know. I don't really have a plan, just heading that way with my climbing shoes, fly gear and my dog. Just got back into climbing so I would like to try some bouldering around blowing rock or something and would love to have someone familiar with the area along.

Do not go to blowing rock, it's a waste of time. If you are going to the A-ville area, YOU MUST GO TO RUMBLING BALD!!! The bouldering there is world class. Go to Black Dome, it is the most informative shop anywhere around the area, besides Looking Glass Outfitters in Brevard, where you can climb and fish all day long there on the Davidson River. If you want a fishing buddy, my friend is an ex-guide and is always looking to go to the river. Get in touch with me and I can tell you more, as i lived in that area for 9 years.

Thanks for the advice man. Thats good to hear because I wanted to stay around Brevard to fish. I go up there a few times a year to fish and have some knowledge of the area. I was just talking to a friend of mine who said the same thing about rumbling bald, I think he's going to meet me up there for a day or two. Any advice would be appreciated, you can PM me if you dont want it floating around on the intrawebz. Also wouldnt mind having someone to fish with as long as he doesnt mind a goof taggin along.
