Best road signs

A long time ago on a trip to the North of England, my wife and I took a shot of a very funny road sign depicting two elderly people crossing the road - a warning sign of a retirement home ahead. Thus began a decade long collection of road sign photos.

Here's a few of ours.

Tim and Kelsey get lost..
Random, but funny. Assuming you like cats as much as I do.

Is this the old folks sign you saw?
This is from Ireland 2006 trip...
Cracked me up when I saw it but realized how cool it was that they respected their elders enough to post the signs...

Was that Ireland car going off a cliff sign from the Dingle Penninsula?

Yes, that is exactly the sign. I found our shot of it when we were doing The Great Purge in prep for this upcoming expedition, but I don't have it in digital form.

I'm not sure, it's been a few years since we were there. It could have been Dingle or one of the other ones. I think we covered them all except the far NW corner of the Island.

Here's some more car on cliff and in other imperilment signs:

I think this was Swaziland or Kwa Zulu Natal

The Silk Route would be an incredible journey!

Scott,

I know some people who have done it on bikes. I also know some resources along the way.

We may come back that way from SE Asia. It would be 2-3 years from now, so if you're interested, maybe we could meet up in Western China / Mongolia / Tibet / etc. and come back to the Med. I would want to swing down through Iran since we missed it the last time we were in the region.
