Not quite that far east. They were taken at Bear Canyon lake up in the rim lakes area. So real close to Fools Hollow. A lot of real nice lakes up there! We almost kept on the forest road to Knoll Lake for additional privacy, but we found some nice areas in the dispersed grounds. Seems (for obvious reasons) that the closer lakes are busier/more popular. Woods canyon, willow springs etc.

My oldest at the bottom of a waterfall, you can see some running water behind the ice.

Camp site. It started raining shortly after this and didn't stop till about 4 in the next morning.
The tent is a cheepo target one, upgrading soon. It did ok. We didn't get wet at least.

I have found that with hikes with my daughter if I let her decide which way we go we do nice long hikes. As soon as I say "We are going this way." thats when the whining begins.
