Resources for learning basic navigation.

Just looking for a recommendation, most likely a book or website for learning basic compass navigation. I am familiar with using GPS's but thought it would be a good idea to learn the basics in the event of a failure.

You might also try the sport of orienteering. It's an excellent way to build your map and compass skills:
