Today's progress:

Put a 1/4" roundover on all pertinent edges, bondo'd holes, sanded and prepped for penetrating epoxy and paint tomorrow.



Cut out cubbies (you'll see later), and bolted side boxes to bed through the D ring bolts and bed bolts. FYI if any of you guys are planning on mounting something thick through the D ring bolts, be aware that they are 11mm metric and nobody locally including Toyota could source longer ones. I ended up through drilling the plywood and mounting plates under it and using the original bolt.

How's the build going?

I found the thread awhile back and have been checking out the rack and shell setup. How do you like the rack? They make a modular unit that I could pick up but its pricey and want to hear some first hand feedback. Thanks.
