    Hi Brian,

I do have an update that relates to the project but it took me a different direction than I had originally intended.

I spent a week in early October on vacation in the Roadtrek with my wife Shelley along the Oregon coast. We totally enjoyed that trip and it confirmed our desire to live full time in an RV. With Shelley committed to that goal my ideas about what would be the "perfect" vehicle got modified (that's an understatement).

On October 19th we picked up our new (to us) 1999 Monaco LaPalma 34-foot Class A motorhome. We moved in two days ago and are now living aboard full time (though not traveling full time yet).

I suppose my definition of "expedition" just got changed! I think the deal now is that I'll end up towing a Wrangler or Cherokee behind the motorhome for any off pavement adventures. We'll just see how it goes.

    Les

That sounds great. A new base-camp for exploring the world.

I am going to revive this thread for the moment as I am considering installing an ARB rear locker on a 2000 dodge3500. I was told by a shop in Phoenix it can't be installed on the 9.25 and would need to swap out the rear axle with a Dana60 to make it work. Does this sound accurate?

    Thank you
Always looking...4x4 Van/Class B RV/Truck Camper 19ft or shorter...Sleeps 4 - two together, two separately; 4 forward facing seats with shoulder seatbelts and additional seating would be even better, interior shower, sink, aux. heat, aux air conditioner, aux. battery, generator all at a price a school teacher could afford...help me Obi-Wan Kenobi you're my only hope.

Arb does not make a locker for the 9.25 actually no one does you will have to swap out axles if you want a selectable locker for that axle. However you can buy a detroit locker, detroit true trac posi, lock right, yukon dura grip, and a dana posi for that axle so it is not like there are not options out there for that axle.
