SAR boots?

I ordered the GX-8. I am limited at work by our budget. Im sure you know the mentality of local government. They would rather buy me cheaper boots every year rather than buy me nice boots every 5 years. They will always be near sighted.
I have been using the 5.11 ATAC 8" for about 3 years now and have gone through 3 pairs. I actually like the ATAC and it serves its purpose. I figured I would give Bates a shot at it since they are the only other ones in my price range. They should be here in a couple days.
