Front spring travel question

Hi guys, I'm having Deaver Spring build new spring packs for the front axle. Any recommendations on spring travel? The higher the travel the more possibility of excess lateral movement. I'm thinking about 75mm (3"). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kerry, I have a pair of those on the rear of my 4Runner and they seem to work well. The real problem with the Fuso seems to be lack of travel. The Deaver springs seem to have several advantages. They use more, but thinner, leaves. They also use Teflon pads between the leaves for less stiction. They will build them with pretty much any arch/amount of axle travel that you want. I'm just trying to decide the best compromise between ride and handling. That, and a pair of Bilsteins should make a huge difference.

I agree with Kerry about the stops - and even with the modded springs I think they contribute to harshness. I'm thinking about installing some pneumatic bumps myself, along with reservoir shocks.
