You know....I have been trying to get to the Mendo run for years. I have been a member(lurker) of the Mendo list for along time and need to get to a run.
My 86 is up next to get running. I bought it with the engine out and had it rebuilt. The 88 is a project that I need to finish as well. I was lucky enough to get itto BCP to have the conversion started on it. I was thinking about putting a Cummins in it but think I have settled on putting a small block in it. Have the parabolics installed and a NV4500 tranny ready to go. Just need to finish it.
Pics of the mog can be seen at www.pbase.com/brg

Nice pics! After I get the series... I'm hoping my wife will let me get a FC101 or a Unimog... (OK, I'm dreaming)

Hopefully you can make it to Mendo this year. We are expecting our fourth tax deduction a few weeks prior so it is doubtful I'll get to go... unless she tells me and the boys to get out of the house so she and the baby can get some rest.... hmmmm, I think I may be onto something here....

The club is up and going strong! http://nclrclub.org/ If you live anywhere in NorCal, Reno, Tahoe, etc, come check us out. We usually have at least one trip per month. If you are not a rover owner, you are more than welcome to join us for a trip as a guest.
