Default isuzu Elf 4x4 expedition style camper...

Isuzu ELF ( NPR) 1991 3.9 turbo diesel engine, 4x4, 5spd, 175,000km, insulated camper, sleeps 6 berth, fridge, stove, shower, toilet,...
anyone in Canada could be owning this one - Right hand drive from Japan...

I asked about engine access - as I thought these trucks were designed as Cab-Over for easy engine access - was told its accessed by flipping up the front seats..

What is the ELF/NPR reliability and parts availability through Central and South America? anyone ?
What would this be worth here in Canada/US?

It seems like this one could be in Vancouver with all the shipping / taxes / ect on the road for around $30,000 Canadian dollars. Not legal for US import. Anyone want more info PM me - I'll pass along.

    Jeff

That's a pretty low price for something that you could hop into and drive to S. America with!

    Default quad cab

I was thinking the same thing... On both fronts...

Only thing I can think is...
IF I had the wife in the front .. one or two kids in the back wouldn't be an issue at all - maybe a couple seat belts installed would solve any issues that may arise.......

As of now I just have one kid... and for at least the next while we are homebound ( only a month old ) so....

I owned a quad cab Mitsubishi Canter (fuso) 4x4.. The quad cab was huge, but camper space was shortened with the short wheel base on the 4x4 quad cab.

peep this video walk - through:

    we'll see.
