THe roof rack doesn't meet autohome requirement indeed, but it has worked just fine for us so far, we just try to avoid having two adult seating at the edge at the same time, no cracks in the paint so far

I gave up on the 'Tex a couple years ago. Already knew everything about my Mk3 VR6 and the place had started seeming more like a high school name-calling contest than a real forum to me. Anyway, welcome to ExPo. I look forward to seeing more of your setup and travels.

Totally agree with you, it has indeed become that, i miss the good old days where member were mature. Gladly i still love my mk4. I am a mod over there just for the heck of it but lost hope of liking the place again

Have one of these and like it, BUT have only used it during the summer, with moderate wind.
Very satisfied, but not so sure it is THAT much easier than a two pole regular tent!

Just found out I should be getting the 6-man rainfly today. Not sure if I will have a chance to get it out this weekend, but I'll post a picture of the packaging anyway since no one has seen this thing yet...

never heard of this rainfly for the instant tent, curious of how it look and work, i didnt find any picture online weird

FYI: It has a bag of the same dinky stakes that came with the tent itself, and the same style of attached tie-down lines.
