The extra wide dimensions of the Fleet on a 1st Gen Tacoma are quite manageable and the extension out of the bed is much more negligeble than I anticipated.

Alright, this is just fancy car camping, people. Move along, move along.
Wow--great looking combo! I bet that's a whole mess of fun!
The Fleet looks shorter than I imagined--it barly looks longer than an Eagle.
Nice! Congratulations!

Nice setup. Looks like you're on Tomichi Pass.
Congrats, nice combo. Love that first pic.

Thanks, gents for the positive comments!
Here's a coupla shots below Owl Creek Pass on our way to Ouray that shows the Fleet's no wider than the 1st Gen Taco's mirrors.
This shot on the east side of Cottonwood Pass near Buena Vista shows the available space underneath the sides of the Fleet where I want to install some aluminum boxes for lightwieght odds and ends such as a cord for city power and the grey water hose, etc.
And this last shot shows the small overall dimensions of the Fleet on the 1st Gen Taco![]()

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to float the note that we'll be selling our Fleet on or about May 2013.
It's a 2009 MY Fleet, fully loaded except for solar. It's currently sitting in storage for the year.
We're not desperate to sell it but we're also not trying to clear some huge profit, either. We'll study the FMV and establish a reasonable price tag.
Great shape. What keeps it from being excellent shape is a tree branch slapped the driver's side just hard enough to slightly dent a spot of aluminum siding (cosmetic only). It hasn't bothered me and I'm a meticulous, incurable perfectionist.
Anyway...just thought I'd issue the advisory for future sale for those folks who plan in advance.
I'm on the Forum infrequently so don't get discouraged if I don't answer for two weeks. I'll be back up on the net eventually to answer.
More photos....but will take a bunch of up-to-date, detailed shots of every nook and canny when I get home.

Hi,
That's a nice looking rig you have, can I ask why your selling the camper?
I am in the market for a small and capable camper (I'm considering both truck and van based setups). A FWC is on my short list of potential choices. I'm in a similar position to you on the buying side, I'm in no rush to buy but am not looking to rip anybody off either. Could you give me a ballpark figure (or range) of what you think you might be selling your FWC for so I can see if it fits my budget? Also, could you answer a couple questions for me:
1. Do you sleep Left--Right or Front--Back on the cabover bed?
2. Is the storage space sufficient for 2 people on an extended (2 week+) trip?
3. Are the standard side mirrors still usable or are towing mirrors necessary?
4. Is the higher center of gravity an issue in offroad or high wind situations?
5. Any pictures of the Interior?
And one last question, where are you located?
Growing family, want a larger camper.
Not sure on the price but I will study the fair market value and factor in depreciation.
1. Front to back
2. Depends on your hobbies. Just running gear and cafe/museum clothes, yes. Hobbies that require a lot of equipment require the daily upload / download drill.
3. Standard mirrors = no problem.
4. Has not been for me but I only take mild red trails and mostly blue trails when 4 wheeling.
5. Will be up on the net when I get back to the US.
Camper is located in Tampa, Florida.
