Wow!
Even though I have the riding skills to do that, even the little jump in the middle, I wouldn't. I guess I'm too cautious to take that kind of risk!

I didn't even know you could drive over them? Don't tell me you straddled it?Originally Posted by upcruiser

Ha ha, no I didn't straddle them but I did drive over one of them. I think it was the inner, I can't really remember. I was actually parked up on an overlook up above it having an nice little lunch by myself. A group of Nissan Xterras pulled up at the area where the trail comes down the the arches. I watched in amusement as they started driving around the outside wondering where they thought they were going. Then they drove halfway across, took photos, and continued to the other side one at a time. Some mountain bikers pulled up about the same time and I watched one of them jump across the gap on one of them. I finished my sandwich while thinking about how odd humans are. Then fired up the 'ol FJ80 and couldn't resist the urge (call it the inner redneck, thanks Bill) to go down and drive over it myself. I was a bit puckered but it wasn't really very bad. Afterwards I felt kinda guilty though honestly. I had a "had to conquer nature" moment and drove over it for absolutely no reason. Looks like alot of people do it but normally I'm not the type to drive over the top of significant landmarks.![]()
