My `89 Suburban

There are so many nice Burbs here , now i'll show mine . It's a `89 GMC with 10Bolt Front Axle and 14Bolt Rear Axle . Back in the Days he was a silver Beauty without any Lift , but with 33" Wheels .

I was very happy with that Car , but after 2 Months a Woman ignore my priority in Traffic and chrashed into the Front of my Burb .

Okay , that's the Beginning of this Story . First we have disassembled the whole Truck , cleaning up the Frame , the Axles and the Body .

We pull some Dents out , do some welding ...

... and install the Superlift 6" Suspension . :sombrero:

The Maxxis Tires in 37-14.5-16 are very noisy , but great in Mud and Snow and last but not least ... they are very Rabbit-friendly ! :sombrero:

Nice. How hard is it to get parts for her in Germany?

We have several Dealers here in Germany . But most Parts are very expensive as compared with the Prices in USA . I've bought many Parts at LMC Trucks , Classic Industries and Summitracing .

I'm dreaming of a Offroad Trailer . But Trailer Hitches for Suburbans are very rare and expensive in Germany . Okay , then we build one !

Okay , without the Bumpers it looks like a Woman with Mustache . :sombrero: The original Bumpers are sweet , but not practically and functional . So i've built my own Bumpers ...

Okay , that's the Front Bumper ... but what is with the Rear Bumper ? There is only a Zinc-platet- Pseudo-Trailer-Hitch ... ?? No , it's going on !

First i've made a Template from Steel , but it was for nothing .

After perceived 10000000 Templates i've found out the perfect Shape for my Taste . :sombrero:

That's okay , but i dont like the Corners . Next Week i'll take my Grinder and the Welder ... and i'll put the Licence Plate to the Backdoor .
