bump revised burrito warmer coming soon
My orignal warmer worked fine but I deided I wanted something wide enough for a slice of pizza and with a lid to minimize dust and to keep the food in the warmer so I threw this togetherburrito warmer 007.jpgburrito warmer 006.jpg

nice, i also recently re-did my oven. now i can fit 2 burritos instead of one!
it also now holds one of these pans easily.
you can pre-make meals in these pans, then wrap them up in foil and just place a pan in the engine "oven" at lunch on the trail to heat up for dinner back at camp (provided you are wheeling all afternoon).

the old one was pretty much the same thing, but not as secure of mounting and was one size smaller pan:

where did you get that pan? I'd love to have one of them in the XJ... the engine runs at 210 like a clock... I could roast a turkey..
Very nice theksmith! yours is quite sophisticated, mine is just two shallow baking pans a d a pair of small brass hinges held closed with a binder clip, I think I'll look for a cabinet latch like yours, that's much cleaner
thanks
simply attached to existing bosses in the valve cover, it's a 4.0L jeep head and valve cover on the the 4.2L straight six with MOPAR efi, when I saw the flat VC and the mounting points there already it seemed a no brainer
FWIW, it is not as effective as i had hoped at highway speed, on the trail it works great, on the open road, not as well
