Old Man Emu lift and stock size tires in a mud tire.

I switched over to 285x70x17 (33s) later that summer.
The smaller tires looked a little out of place with the lift.

Those look good on your rig, but 33s would fill the wheelwells better.

How about 2.5" lift with 33" tires!?

Next to my other truck that sits on 40" tires...

How do you like your 33"s?

Yeah i was really back and forth between 32" or 33"

i Got the 32"s b/c its my daily driver and i'm only doing mild trail offroading once and a while.

So far i really like the look. Lift and tires were just put on 3 days ago so i think the lift will settle a little bit to help balance the look out.

The biggest difference I noticed was in power between 32s and 33s. 33s put you right below the power curve with 4.11 gears, making the truck pretty sluggish on hills.

I have a 1.5" BL, and had OME heavies for a while until switching the rear coils out for heavier OME Prado coils. My total lift is around 4", so slightly higher then your present setup.

Hang on for a minute while I vomit pictures all over your thread...

Here are some pics of my truck in 32s:
