So has the engine/drivetrain been rebuilt or overhauled?

Please don't take this the wrong way, im just asking out of curiosity and not to bash the rig in anyway. Im trying to figure out why a 1995 model year need to be restored in such depth? 99.9% of 80 series Landcruisers are pampered and owned by people that don't take them off road. Usually the only thing that needs to be repaired is the warn leather seats. They're generally cracked from their long life. In most cases the paint, the dash and other items are in great shape. Also, if money was no object for this vehicle im surprised TLC didn't do a diesel swap.

Very nice rig though. Although the 20" wheels are a little much for my taste.

Located in Charleston SC. Original engine and drive train. Previous owner has too much money and likes trucks a lot. This was his beech buggy, but he replaced it with an new range rover after 3 months back from TLC.

Good looking rig IMO, though I have to agree the 20" rims aren't to my taste at all. Actually, I like the rims, just not the diameter of the rims. I guess I'm old school in that I want more sidewall when I air down.

That said, I wouldn't mind owning this if I were in the market.

TLC is in Van Nuys they have a maintenance history on it. Feel free to call them Vin # is in the last pic. Less than 3k miles since they have had it. I have a new Tacoma and just don't drive it much.

the link he/she posted goes to their site and their location is on the home page. Van Nuys, CA

I'm trying to imagine why a vehicle that new would need to be refurbished with no motor work.

Very strange.

To get an extra $12,500 out of some sucker?
