What patch to use for tear in ARB SImpson 3 cover?

The grey travel cover on my ARB RTT has a small tear in it from when it was in storage... actually not so much a tear as an abrasion spot about 1" to 1.5" around. I would like to patch it but I don't know what to use... was thinking of this:

A good adhesive for PVC and Vinyl is HH-66. The cover is PVC type fabric.

Not sure what the adhesive in the SealLine kit is.

What about the Tear-Aid patches? I have read a ton of great things online now about their stuff and it's available locally to me, but I don't know if I would use type A or type B. I have read that the type B patches are "only for vinyl" and I've also read "only for vinyl and PVC" on a few different websites.

I tried emailing the company, but it bounced back to me as undeliverable.

I've not had to patch a cover, but I suppose if I did I would try and use some of the same material and glue it over the tear with plenty of overlap.
