Running the OME without weight in the truck will give you a very painful and jarring ride.

I will have a very heavily laden Disco as well and am planning the same thing. Given the lift height, did you have to do any other mods to correct caster, driveshafts, etc? How does it drive in this regard?
I already have a u-joint rear shaft, and am planning a CV shaft in front. Also, I plan to have the swivel balls redrilled and the radius arms modified for the lift. Considering either a Tru-trac or ARB in front, and an ARB in the rear.
