    Default short camper doors?

i'm thinking of making a camperette for my dodge. just a 5' tall 6.5'x6.5' (4'x6.5' at the bottom)insulated box with a bed, furnace/heater and some storage. what i'm having trouble finding is a 4' by whatever door, preferably insulated with a window.

Perhaps you can buy one from Four Wheel Camper? I don't remember if it is exactly 4 feet, but it has to be pretty close on our FWC Hawk.

If you can build such a camper you can build such a door. Frame it just like the camper and give some thought about how to seal it when closed. A simple labyrinth seal backed up by some sort of bulb seal would be my suggestion as a starting place.

The new doors FWC are using are very nice. If I remember correctly they are 42" high.

My door and door frame is nothing but h shaped aluminum channel screwed to a wood/aluminum covered door the same as the rest of the camper, you can just build it.

And here I though hobbits were fictional

"Nice" and 42" should only be used together when booking strippers. Or so I've heard.
