FG649 2004 for sale or parts.
I drove the Canter home today.
I am pretty sure it will be listed as a repairable write off, but will get conformation of that from my insurer tomorrow.
Story is that I got bogged while launching my boat, front winch failed and the truck got wet up to the bottom of the cab.
Diffs and gearbox are ok, had breathers on them.
The chassis electrics will be shot and need to be replaced. At this point everything still works, all the lights, speedo, tacho, exhaust brake. gave everything a function test on the way home.
Engine will need rings I believe. Lots of blow by.
There is damage to the back of the cab.
Before I start stripping it down to sell off the bolt on accessories, is anybody interested in buying it complete?
A project for someone with plenty of time and enthusiasm.
