Man, this is one amazing, inspiring, jaw dropping thread

First I was amazed you were building it in the snow at the very start. Then I notice you build almost the entire thing in the snow multiple times and do it in record time.

When people are using excuses about money, time and weather affecting their travel agenda, here you have Chris who goes out no matter what the weather it, builds one of the sweetest Home Made campers I've seen in years and does it all for net to nothing and again, in record time

You my friend are one true Overlander Keep it Up!!

For lack of a better term, I sort of used this thread as inspiration to "man-up" and actually work on my Cherokee in my un-insulated, un-heated garage a couple of times in the last month.
It's been below freezing, but I figured if a guy can build a camper in an open lot, surely I can do some work on my Jeep inside my garage!

P.S. The Jeep has been in there for 2.5 years... ughhh.....

So we took off from Revelstoke & was on our way to Vancouver Island. Did a stop at the Coquihalla Summit for a ski tour & continued on to the island to retrieve our other stolen truck.

    Hwy 5 Coquihalla Summit:

Last couple days we drove up to North Island to ski tour at Mt. Cain. This ski hill opens only Fri-Sun so we had the whole mountain for ourselves for a couple days...To top it off the stormy weather died off the 1st afternoon we arrived & we sure had some good turns in the adjacent backcountry area.

Those are REAL mountains! Nice pix. Curious to see what you find on Van Island, I was there last summer.

I've been following your build, my truck is turning out along similar lines so far, at least the flatbed aspect.

It has been a couple weeks since I last came on line. After we left Vancouver Island with the recovered Nissan, we took the ferry back over to the mainland & was skiing mainly in Squamish/Whistler/Pemberton/Duffy Lake Road for a couple weeks. On our way back to Revelstoke just last week my toy just hit 370000km!!!

After a few days of skiing/climbing/hot-springing in Revelstoke, my camper is now back to Kamloops parked for the next 3 weeks while we are using the Nissan to explore northern BC for the next 2 weeks. Plans are Smithers/Terrace/Stewart/Hyder. Hopefully we'll have enough time before I have to bus down south to pick up my truck for reforestation work this spring.
