    Default "OE aux. fuel tank"???

Can any of you give me more information about 100 series land cruisers having a factory option for a second fuel tank?

I am looking at moving to a LC and in researching, I found this link that mentions what I have asked above.

    Thanks!

Sure... the OEM aux tank has a capacity of 45 liters (slightly less than 12 gallons). It fits above the spare tire. Many australians scrap this tank for something larger or LPG conversion in its place... so they can be found for fairly cheap ($50-100 plus shipping on eBay) granted you can get them to ship it to the US.

The dual filler is not so easy to find used but can be sourced new for about $350 delivered. A stock/aftermarket fuel pump will have to be sourced too as well as transfer button and gauge.

There are several other brands for aux tanks too... mostly in the 24-44 gallon range. Complete kits are in the $1000-1400 range. But all of these require the relocation of the spare tire.

I know your 4Runner is super loaded and you could use more space. Another option is this aux tank that carries 32 gallons of fuel and 14.5 gallons of water.
