Hey All,
I found out about these guys through another forum and thought I'd share here. Rian Cope and Dylan Brayshaw are two young guys from Australia who cycled across Indo in 2009. Check out their website,

They explored the Islands of Sumatra, Similue, Nias, Asu, Mentawais, Java and Bali. Their trip took about four months and was over 2800kms. They also brought their bodyboards and surfed at many spots along the way.
They filmed the entire time and created a four hour movie, Eat.Sleep.Surf. The movie shows everything from the trip preparation to the daily biking and scenery (coast, waterfalls, lakes, volcanoes, islands, people etc) of the beautiful islands. This is the trailer for the movie:

Anyways, I purchased their DVD and was pretty stoked on it. There is a LOT of footage. These guys have some big cajones, because the drivers in Indo are rediculous and there are zero bike lanes. I have spent time over there and riding a scooter is sketchy enough. I wouldn't want to be on a bike!
