X2 on the liquid co2. The smaller bottles aren't that expensive to buy outright, and you can find used ones from time to time. Like said above you also get more life out of a bottle as well as being safer. I'm debating between going this route or a compressor. I'm really leaning toward the co2 set up personally since I can get discounts from one of the local welding suppliers I go through regularly.
