    Default 1986 Hilux 22RT-E 4x4 SR5

1986 Hilux 4x4 Extra cab, 22R-TE, Fully loaded, PS, PW, PDL, Air, Rear Defrost, Cruise, Tilt, Automatic, Moon Roof.

260K miles on the truck. All California Emissions devices are intact.

Fully documented life back to the receipt of the original sale.
All valve adjustments, preventative maintenance and oil changes have been early or on time throughout.

Engine rebuilt by Piercey Toyota at 168920
Rebuilt Turbo and new Toyota exhaust manifold at 208019 (Coast Fuel Injection rebuilt turbocharger. Piercey Toyota did the work)
    New Radiator at 220620

It drives great and according to the reading on the Banks turbo gauge, it runs at 6-7 psi of boost.

There are no leaks that I see except a little weep from the valve cover. All the fluids look as clean as the rest of the truck. (A reflection on the service history)

When I got it, the power window switch was finicky. I put a new switch module in it and it works fine now.

I don't hesitate driving this truck to Phoenix and back in the Summer months. It has been that reliable, fun to drive, and comfortable.

The truck has only ever lived in SoCal and Arizona, so there is ZERO rust.

    $2,500 USD

    Cheers,
    Dave

Nice truck. I've got an 87 4Runner with the 22ret motor and love it. If I did not have it I'd snatch yours up. Fun to drive. Cool that you even still have the service light that plugs in under the dash. Mine is missing and I am looking for one. Good luck with the sale.

    A couple of questions.

--What color is the truck? It's hard to tell from the pictures.

--What size tires are on the truck and how much tread is left?

--What kind of fuel mileage are you getting? Does it take premium?

--Are you able to pick up a prospective buyer at the Flagstaff airport?
    I've had enough...

That is one beautiful Toyota. A shot of bedliner, and it'd be perfect.

Wow, I've NEVER seen one of those service lights, just the underdash socket to plug it in.

Best of luck with the sale... I'm surprised you aren't asking for a higher price, it's unusual to see them in such condition...

Hmmm. Always a possibility. How does the bike do on the freeway? What would a halfway point be from Denton to Flagstaff?

Wow this is tempting! It could even be a candidate for our low budget overlander project...
