Looking for 1st FJ40!! Anywhere =)

Hey everyone,

First want to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Matt and I'm in Michigan looking for my first FJ40 ever. I am willing to travel anywhere if I can find a nice straight cruiser. It has been my dream vehicle and now I have a little money to finally get one. The money does have some sentimental value to me so I would like something nice I can take care of and be proud of. I have about 6-8k to spend and am looking for a nice cruiser that isn't overbuilt for only hardcore wheeling and relatively rust free. I am excited to join the land cruiser community and hope to find one. Nice to meet you all and thanks.

PM pskhatt. He's got a nice FJ40 with a sweet 3FE conversion that he's looking to part with, the body isn't cosmetically perfect but it would be a great starting point since the mechanicals are all in order.

If you haven't all ready,also check out Craigslist and IH8MUD - you can sort through many FJ40's until you find the right one for you - good luck!

There are a couple clean ones in Atlanta on Craigslist in that price range.

My buddy has a very nice tan 77 that is all original for sale. Its one of the cleaner ones I have ever seen but still has a little rust. Should be listed on the Georgia Cruises site or the main Cruiser site that I cant recall the name of.

I'd lover a Cruiser but just a hair small for my needs. Troopie would work though and I have thought about streaching one to 2door unlimited size.
