Phoenix Area Mechanic

I have a friend who wants to have his FJ60 engine rebuilt and the tranny swapped for the 5 speed. Does any one know of a good mechanic in the Phoenix area that you would trust doing this to your truck? Preferably someone who specializes in Cruisers? He just wants to make sure its done properly and doesn't mind spending more money on a quality mechanic.

Mike Thiel at Theil automotive. He on 56th in Chandler I think. He's done a lot of work for me. Rebuilt a engine for my 90 4Runner when he was at Tempe Toy. Great guy.
