Bumper came out great! I love this truck.
Which camera/monitor did you use? Is the monitor shared between both cameras? Thanks.

Thanks. I kind of love it too. The monitor replaces my stereo head unit and is a Pioneer. The cameras were as recommended by the guys at Al&Eds. I Originally went in to get a small monitor and just a back up camera because it can be hard to determine where my cans are when backing. After chatting about the options, it was clearly a better choice to go with a replacement head unit. One thing led to another and we were talking about adding other cameras. The sales guy was showing me pics of his old rock crawler that had 5 cameras, including several suspension cams. I didn't want all that but the front camera could be handy once or twice a year.
The setup is automatic in reverse in one position, then has a manual override for either front or rear view constant. That way, I can use it as a rear view "mirror" if my truck is packed too much to see out the back at all. Or, if I'm going up a steep incline I can switch it to the front cam and confirm the line I started or see over the top as I get to the top of the hill.

I was foolish and left the faucet on the can for a week in between trips. Apparently the kids next door broke the pipe off and shoved it back in. I noticed it and tried rethreading it into the plastic housing but it wouldn't tighten down. Eventually, it rattled loose and is now somewhere in or near Death Valley. Rather than going with another expensive pump faucet, I thought I'd have some fun plumbing another option. I wanted a gravity feed option that could also be used under pressure for a shower or for washing dishes. For $10 in brass parts, a short coiled hose and a garden sprayer, we now have a nifty faucet/sprayer.
Gravity feed only with a relatively full can
I installed a schrader valve stem
Aired to about 25 psi doesn't stress the can much. (The lids don't handle much more than this before they start leaking air.)
At 25 psi it shoots a stream from a garden sprayer about 25-30 feet
Or it creates a nice shower, warm up that water before pressurizing and you're good to go
The proof will be in the field test but it was a fun little project. It helped having my 13 year old daughter able to reach into the can to hold fittings. On the inside is a rubber o-ring and another fitting the create a tight seal for the faucet.

Great Idea Shruk! Ive been wondering how to make those military H2O cans easier to use. That just might be the ticket! Interested to see how the shower turns out.

Great build thread! I recently picked up a '05 Titan 4X4 Crew Cab with Off Road & Big Tow packages. Thanks for all the great ideas. My plan is to Get a Leer shell and build a full exo roof with a basket over the cab. I will be contacting your bumper fab artist for sure. There are a few fabbers doing prerunner style fronts but most are too bulky/heavy for my tastes.
