Many times envy and hatred go hand in hand. People like that tend not to enjoy life with whatever it is they have.

Bring out the Hummers! I love seeing them actually getting used instead of being 'status' mobiles. It's too bad that's usually how they are used though, with H2 owners being the biggest offenders. I think there may be 2-3 H2 in the Chicagoland area that actually get used properly, seems the rest are blinged.

seems most vehicles fall into that category,,,how many peeps really use their diesel trucks for anything other than cruising around town?! I was a huge offender for awhile doing that,,,but it does seem HUMMER owners are especially singled out and hated on,,,,

I was looking at getting an H1 a few years back and a "friend" of mine said that she would key it and slash my tires if I got one because they are such a ridiculous/yuppie/polluting/status vehicle. I was like "WTF I want to take it off road!"

ask your friend if he can afford 150 grand for alpha .then he can slash the tires , or try to educate him that H1 is diesel it doesn't pollute the air, and its 13 + mpg better than toyota land cruiser .
and yes it is an status and kick ... vehicle , for special porpoise use, so is Lamborghini or Ferrari , they are made for 200 mph race track not for the streets, tell him to go cry

Advise your "friend" that if your proposed H1 sustain any damage inflicted by them, the truck will still have the capacity to effortlessly transport their body far from civilization to its final resting place in an unmarked shallow grave.

Went wheeling at the Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, IN this past weekend. They was a group of 5-6 H3s and a FJ cruising around. Looks like they were all having fun. Think I surprised them by passing through one of the big water holes they were playing in.
