Really love this country! Nice shots ;)

Chile, just like so many other countries, just has SO MUCH to see! It's really impressive. I wish I could get out and explore it more. Expecially since they're trying to cut out all the local ox trails people us as roads, and put in actual roads. I'm losing some of my favorite trails here in the 10th region. It's good for the locals. Just not as fun for me.

Thanks JPVM! I have quite a few more vids that I will share here soon. Btw, I'm digging the Yeti bikes. I just started (literally 3 days ago) riding my bike again. For around 2 years, we lived up in the Central region of Chile. We were in a small town Placilla just outside of San Fernando in the Colchagua Valley. While there, we rode bikes everyday as a only transportation. I bought myself a GT XC Mountain bike frame and some intermediate grade components to build the bike. Since we've moved here, the bike hasn't had any use in 3+ years. So, now I'm trying to figure out if it's worth changing the components, or just selling the bike, and getting myself a cheaper bike that is more trail/enduro oriented. I can't afford a Yeti unfortunately. I'm hoping to keep up the biking though. I love trail riding. Here are a couple of photos from us in the 6th region, and a few from the other day too.

Nice dude , love MTB (we do Enduro riding) with my 2 sons ... you've got a classic, a triple tirangle GT. I used to have one, but really a double susp modern Enduro bike will caenge the way you see MTB , if you can buy a used one , do it. Its a great sport to take on your 4x trips any place.

In Facebook go to

https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/ventas.mtbenduro.cl/

And join to see what's been sold used as Enduro Bikes, I really recommend you this side of the sport.

Yeah, I got out of the MTB thing due to the weather here in Southern Chile for a time, but about 7 days ago, I said, ahhh... what's a bit of mud and water. So, I just started with what I had. It's a GT Aggressor, and I bought some parts for it today at Oxford bikes in Pt Montt. I got me some a Spinner (Budget) 120mm travel front fork, Kore Torsion 680mm handle bars, Kore 65mm head set, and a Kali Protection full face helmet. So, the bike looks pretty different now.

Here it is today

My new bars

My new forks. They don't have lock out on them, but the extra 40mm of travel change everything.

So, now, my riding is going to change a lot, I think! I've been struggling with the old XC setup. It's just not balanced for tight trail riding in these slick forest. Good thing is, I have old horse back riding trails a 4 min walk from my house that are on a neighbors private property that I can use. So, I have easy access riding. It's been inspiring me for a while. Here's a little XC style biking vid to show you the trails.

This vid is the first of many I'm doing just to have a visual marker of my progress, and the changes made. My riding right now is SUPER LAME, but I'm sure you'll like to see the trails. This was shot on an iphone 4, and with my bike still in the XC format.

Dude congrats for the very nice vid production !!!! Really it doesen't matter how rad or not we all ride , the thing is to RIDE, that makes us better , merges us with the nature and feeds our souls. My congratulations also for the luxury of where you live now and also the nice upgrade you did to the GT. Oxford has some very nice Kona bikes and some very good parts where you can upgrade your existing bike. I am a good customer of the Santiago - Las Condes Oxford store.

Keep the good work man !!!
