Thanks man! I appreciate the compliments. I'm working on some semi downhill trails on a couple neighbors properties. Once I get them tweeked a bit, I'll be doing some vids of me learning to ride them. If you have vids up of you guys riding, I'd love to see them.

Yeah, I'd love to have a Specialized or a Kona. I really like the hard tail frames (rigida), because they more semi technical trails more challenging. I forgot to mention it though, but thanks for the Facebook site link as well. I'll definately check that out.

Till then though, here's a more site seeing off-roading vid of the Southern Chile for you. Once again, in my Trooper.

The Atacama desert in northern Chile , world's dryest, there are places there where no rain record there is since 20 or 30 years ... but somehow the beauty is still there , its a place of contrasts, big spaces and open clear skies ... the largest telescopes are here , ALMA, VLT, etc. this picture is at 10 pm, and 12.000 ft altitude

I recognize that dust ;) Great photo. Did you have any problems passing through areas where all the flooding happened?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your MET helmet cost? I have been wanting one of those since I saw they were going to re-release the parachute, but apparently they don't sell their products in the USA, due to liability reasons. I should have bought one when I was in Chile! (and sold the go-pro that I never use to pay for it)

Dust till glory .... hahaha this was like a year ago, and this is right on the high desert where the big flood happened like 3 weeks ago, it would have been deadly to pass this place this year...

I paid like US$ 230 for it ... more or less like a Bell Super 2R ...heard that in Canada its sold and there is also in the short term a dealer in the US. This helmet passes all the norms and its certified in the USA. It's the lightest full face enduro helmet in the market. Very light , ventilated and comfortable I've worn.

Cool thanks. I sent both MET and their 1 US distributor an email asking if they have a reseller in the states. I'll see what they respond with. If I can't get one of those than maybe the Super 2R is a good alternative.
