What happened with your Fox's?

Is that by chance Monster 4x4 in Santiago? Looks like they have nice selection of off-road tires!

I valved the shocks exactly wrong....:) They weren't dialed in correctly before I left and I ran out of time. In a last ditch effort I went with a 30/75 stack and it was horrible on washboard. So I had the shop (Pato Power Parts, great folks) order some shims. Nitrogen was the hard part to get; I guess only one or two places in Santiago do the charging. Valving is better now but still not that great. I'd like to tear into them again before I head south from Puerto Montt on Ruta7 but that all depends on if I can find a place with nitrogen in that area.

Patricio has a great shop; unfortunatley I didn't think the 39" Super Swampers would fit on the 80 sagged down with all the weight :D

Well, I've been working a bit on my Trooper too. Bought a Nissan Terrano 2.5 hood scoop, and installed it on my Trooper, and started my Rock Slider/Side steps.

Thanks! PN Conguillo is beautiful, and we had great weather. Kayak on the lake would have been really fun.

Further south now, did Chiloe for 4 days.

If everything works out like I'm hoping, I'll be going to chiloe at the end of January for a few day with my Trooper. I'm trying to figure out where I really want to go, and what I want to see. I've been once before, but I'm doing a bit more research.

Thanks! Yep we did hit Tantauco park, but only for 1 day. So much to see in Chile. We stayed in Ancud the first night, then went to see the penguins the second day; from there down to the dead forest from the earthquake (first kayaking pictures). From there down to Parque Nacional Chiloe, stayed near Castro. Then a day trip down to P. Tantauco and did a short hike. From there back up to near Ancud and did some kayaking in the bay. Then back over the bridge to Puerto Varas and my parents went north via Turbus back to santiago to fly home.

I have a ton of vids, and photos from the 10th region area of Chile, and a number from the 6th region too. I have some from Punta arenas and Torres del Paine as well. In an attempt to not bore everyone with all my stuff at once, I'll try and upload more frequently in lower quantaties. If you want to see my Vlog on living in Chile, and my rig builds, repairs and modifications, you can check out my web site. www.ericmcgrew.tv. I'm not going to post all that on here though.

These photos are of Puella which is on the boarder of Argentina and lake Todos los Santos.

Here are photos from the Catamaran that is used to cross the lake. It takes about an hour on board to get to Puella.

This is Volcano Osorno as seen from the boat.

Here is the now dead Volcano Punti Agudo

This is the original hotel in Peulla, which is now close to 100 years old if not a bit more. My understanding is that they are not using this hotel fully anymore, since there is a newer facility near by.

I have more general photos of this trip, and I will try and dig them up.
