    Default 12v Magsafe setup...

I stumbled across this looking for how to power my work macbook from the truck without running the inverter..

Hope its not a repost. Looks darn easy to make.. and I already have another magsafe adapter that the dog cut in 2..

Well, apple did go through a lot of trouble to stop other people from mucking with the magsafe connectors .. maybe try viewing from a PC....

I'll grab an ipad and check the site. pretty boring html there so I'm surprised it doesn't render right.

Works fine on my iPad. Must be user error

Thanks for posting this, alosix. I might give it a try next time someone's dog chews up an adapter at work.

Apple does make one: MagSafe Airline Adapter, its $49.00. There is an airline power plug and a 20mm adapter that fits over the em-power plug so that you can run power from your dash.

Apples site specifically says it won't work in an auto.
    Thanks, Matt
