I kept my factory alum, as the 37's on 17s give the 'magic' 10" sidewall. Steel vs alum -if a cosmetic question- alum. If a functional question- steel. Size- that is a $$ question, and the options for 17s are way more available and readily available if you do any remote trips, should the need arise for emergency tire to be shipped...
