Hi Yves,

I was thinking of getting these for my 2004 FWC Hawk (approx. 1200 lbs) that I have cinched down to the OEM bed tiedowns on my new 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 ext. cab. However, since my turnbuckles are rock solid after almost 1,000 miles, I think I'll hold off on the Torklift Basic Spring Loads.

Taking a trip to Florida from NC in couple of days.

NOTE: My pop-up has a lower center of gravity than a regular hard side TC, so I there is less pull on the OEM tiedowns. ALSO, my driving has all been on paved roads or state park roads, so far.

If you put them on the corners of your truck camper using the OEM bed corner tiedowns, I would like to know how they worked out for you.
