Default am I crazy? what about using this...

So being here in Panama makes me want to travel even more...like if it is even possible...

I am however looking for a bit more luxury for our next long term adventure. It looks like I will need to design/create my own camper, and so far the Fuso seems like the best choice. They are everywhere here in Panama by the way. I love my Troopie and I will use it again when I go back to Africa, but I am always looking for something with a bit more amenities...

How about using this box as a starting shell and putting it on a 4x4 Fuso? Would that make any sense? it seems to me like the size/dimensions of this truck box would be nice, as I want a permanent bed, a good kitchen and a fixed table.

maybe I spent too much time dreaming about my camper...

    what do guys you think?

That box would be a great start. You would probably spend as much buying a box and then a 4x4 fuso as it would take to convert that one to 4x4.

That is not an uncommon box. See them all the time. When that web bassed grocery store went belly up they had a whole fleet of trucks with boxes like that. They went cheap!

    It'd be a good start...

Aren't you building up a Sportsmobile?

but I do not expect to use this van for a long expedition so that's why I am always curious and interested in other concepts. Perhaps I will drive it down to Costa Rica for our mountain bike race, but I mostly bought it for our local weekend trips and to learn more about the Sportsmobile product.
