I wonder how much that one's gonna weigh.
Take off the front fender, and you would never guess it's a BMW.
1999 Dodge: stock -- noisy, stinky & handles like a bloated pig.
2009 BMW F800GS: fast and sexy.
2000 Husaberg FE600E: Makes KTMs tremble with fear.
2007 Suzuki DR200: The 'girl' bike.
1981 Honda XL250S: olds cool funkiness.
1980 Honda CM400: rat-bike.

I see BMW is buying Husqvarna so this may be some fore shadowing.

Has anyone heard anything about the 450 yet? I couldn't find any reviews on the bike anywhere. I am waiting to buy a bike all because, I want to see what this bike is going to be like.

The G450 project started before the merger talks with Husky got going. As the 450 neared the prototype stage the acquisition talks were pretty far along so BMW did draw from them. When the bike broke cover last year at Ezberg(?), painted flat black, without logos, the BMW development team used a Husky truck and trailer.
BMW displayed the 450 at last winters bike shows. Supposedly it will be for sale soon but the price is rumored to be in $9-10K range, pricey. An interesting feature is that the front sprocket, lines up with the swing arm pivot, eliminating any chain sag as the wheel traverses its arc.
