Ground or Whole Bean for the trail?

I did a quick search and didn't run across this topic in here. Sorry if it has already been covered ...

With that being said, do you take whole beans with you and grind on the trail or just pack the pre-ground? If you do grind, are you doing it by hand or pluging in the coffee grinder to the truck?

Whole bean.

Grinding before hand increases the surface area of the coffee exposed to oxygen, which greatly increases the rate at which it loses flavor.

I use a Turkish mill to grind coffee every morning when camping (electric burr-mill at home).
