7.3 tear down! Big build. 6" o 35's, Stage 2 front axle with RSC, ARB rear, OBA, Aluminess, rear skid with underfloor storage, everyone will be jealous of this rig for sure!

That must be who passed me last month. I nearly drove off the road. What a beauty. Is that a 6" lift and 35s?

Hey Chris,what are the stock rear leaf springs rated at and what is their width?

3" wide, there are different ratings for different vans, what are you looking to do?

Getting close! This is our 1st set of the new BFG KO2's, really nice tire. This van has a ton of extras so we were plumbing & wiring most of the day. Rear bumper is mounted too, ready to drive it on Monday!

Love getting updates and seeing the vans in use! Here's Mike's 7.3 van we did a few months ago and what he had to say about it!

"I owe you an update on the conversion you did for me on my van(now named "The Grand Vanyon”, unless that name is taken). After picking it up at your shop and driving home a couple of hundred miles I loaded it up with camping gear, hooked up my trailer and hit the road for a 1400 mile ride to the Big Bend area of Texas. The van drove like a dream. Smooth and predictable. Hardly knew the trailer was back there other than it blocking my visibility.
Here at the ranch there are no paved roads and the conditions on what passes for a road can get sphincter tightening. The van performs as expected, predictable and dependable. I’ve tackled obstacles I would have avoided in my FJ40s."

Thanks.I was just curious is all.I hadn't seen anything about the ratings for rear springs.Makes sense the ratings would vary based on all the different uses and trim levels.

Hey Chris, quick question.

On a 6" lift with 35's, how far off the ground is the bottom of the frame? (between front and rear wheels).

Another rig nearing completion! Headed to CO soon. 7.3, 6" lift with the new BFG KO2's, XD 18" addict wheels, Stage 2 front axle w/RSC upgrade, ARB rear air locker, UJ Onboard Air, UJ rear skid with underfloor storage, Fox 2.0 all the way around with duals up front. Aluminess front & rear bumpers and a UJ fuel tank. Awesome van, awesome van!
