Got a bit more work done, Middle storage section. Part way there. still need to finish cutting plywood.

I have ordered a set of pull rings and locks for the doors to finish the storage up next weekend.

In for paint:

The front section still needs to be bolted down to sit level.

Well... I guess its time for a big update since I have been off the radar for 2 weeks haha.

In list form:
finished rear of wagon floor idea
rear barrier installed
extra led lighting added
40" led light bar added
arb seat covers
water tank set in place
wiring almost sorted
red arc 1220 installed
immobilizer installed
can now start off key - no switch required

For starts, I got a new turbo installed, overall it works great. a lot more power and actually gets decent fuel economy again:

Moving onto the storage unit now... this took a while to build but houses all my electrical keeping them off the floor, up high and away from under the dash.
keeping most of the factory wiring untouched.

A few hours mudding on the weekend, this basically lead to my engine having a valve touch a piston on the way home. luckily it was at idle so no damage, but getting a new head due to cam wear I am worried about. then she will be all new. haha

Awesome truck! When you did the diesel swap, do you remember the model of the 5spd that you used? I have a 1990 3.0V6 with a 5spd and I've always wondered if it would bolt right up to a 4d56? Thanks!

I used a 5 speed from a 2.6/2.3 or 2.5L any of the 4cyl models basically.

the 5 speed from the v6 does not fit. differnt bolt pattern

I went from a petrol v6, haha. bit of a power difference. the 4d55 isnt to low on power. I thoght it was worth it.

Well I was after a daily driver that could sit more than 2 people. both my vehicles only seat 2.. haha
I found this little gem online,
92 Pajero
rear diff lock
electronic adjustable shocks
sunroof
power windows
automatic :(
super select
4.875 gearing

good little ride overall. slight hail damage on the hood, but I can always get anew one.
the heads are off since it blew the ehad gasket. but all I need to do is put it together.

picked it up for 950 bucks.
all ready thinking of putting my 31's on the factory chromies on... hmmm...

Wow! That is nice for $950! But good luck on keeping it a daily driver. 1 mod here and another there, next you know you have 2 expo rigs! HAHAHA
There is nothing wrong with that at all. And it all starts with tires and rims :sombrero:
I wouldn't be able to leave it as a DD. I sure hope you have more will power that me. Congratulations on the new rig! I love it
