    Default Chassis bending and flex

Hi, I am doing some research before starting (attempting!) to convert a Samil 50 in to a 4x4 camper/ overlander.

Ive seen very innovative designs to fasten a rigid camper load body to a truck chassis, whilest still allowing for the chassis flex.

But is this really necessary? - otherwise how do you fasten a loadbody to a cab (if you want to get access from the cab to the loadbody) but still allow for some flex in the chassis without either the cab or load body mounts cracking and breaking off?

    regards

    Hi there,
I would'nt allow the chassis to flex under the rigid camper, mount them together, if you allow the chassis to flex aventually it will crack and break.
