Tom Woods sells a tailshaft replacement SYE for the NP242 t-case. Its a modified stock shaft but is not a bad kit. The case I just got has a HnT but it was installed by a machine shop and the used a 1/2" fine thread bolt instead of the 5/16" one it comes with.

Tom Woods replacement shaft for the NV242 is a cash flow device. There really is no need.

Larger bolt? Did they think that the shaft will not pull apart before breaking a Gr.5 (Gr. 8?) bolt?

Still haven't fixed it unfortunately. Keeps getting pushed down the To Do list. Currently it is to get the exhaust welded.

HnT is what I will go for eventually.

Here is a long overdue update. Long story short, I found a guy on Craigslist selling TJ Rubicon Rims (which I have wanted since FOREVER). They were on 285/75/16 which are around 33x11.5s.

    Looks damn sexy IMO:

Smaller black XJ with bike on top is my friend's. I guess we are twins?

Yep, Im pretty sure those are TJ Moabs. Another option would be Mamba wheels, thy make two different rims identical to Moabs. They've got em in Silver and Black.

    Kinda pricey though.

Yea these are Moabs/TJ Rubicons basically. I just kept checking craigslist almost each day to find a set. After a few months, here they are.
