    I have been thinking of going up a size to 285's......Let me think about this.....4 tires have 90% and a brand-new spare!

    AZTrooper has first dibs...I working on lining up a seller on the 285 right now....found Some MTR's....a guy selling them used....Not to sure about the MTR's due to Bajataco writeup????

    The 255/85R16 will actually be taller (and narrower) than the 285/75r16's...in case you were not aware of it.

    As for MT/R's, I would not put them on anything that is used outside of rock crawling. In fact, I won't put them on my jeep again next time....to many problems getting them to balance, and very heavy.

    Your right on the size factor. I guess i would like to try a different shoe on my rig...... a little wider and not as tall.....

    I don't need 5. I would just like to have one to mount for a spare. The 265/75/16s that I have now are great, and they are 31.6" tall. The 255/85/16s that I want will be 33.1" tall. For the record, I'll take four.
