So how do you like this service?

Not sure yet. I signed up a few months ago when it was just announced, and then I added a bunch of my Kindle book content. Today they offically launched to the public, and my books were no longer listed in my account. So I just added them back in. The webpage to add books didn't render very well on Win7/FF3.x, but I was able to do it without too much difficulty. I then took a few books from my Amazon wishlist (I use it as a "get to reading someday list") and added them the eFling wishilst. To my surprise, about half the titles I am looking for were listed as "available now for immediate download". I haven't done it yet, as I have 3 new Kindle books to read through first, but I will be doing it soon. Seems like a pretty cool service. I get two free credits for being an early subscriber. I am not sure what the actual costs are yet. I guess I have more reading to do!

edit: there are a few bugs to be sure. Specially in the upload your collection process. I had to do my manually, as discussed here:
