1 in 7 in AZ... Yeah right.

I know of five off the top of my head, including the 2 on my uncles ranch.

Very cool machines, but impossible to keep going with limited to no spares and service parts.

Here is Stephanie driving the Patrol on the Brady-Vekol Ranch

There is a nice one being restored in my town. I've never seen it driving around.... always in the shop....

That's too cool Scott. Too bad they didn't stay in the NA market with that model. Any ideas/insight as to why Nissan didn't?

I'd guess that because in the 1960s we had several good options. There were all kinds of trucks, various Jeeps, Broncos, Cruisers, Power Wagons, Blazers, Scouts, even a few Rovers. Probably a tough market to crack, particularly for a Japanese company.

all true. I know even Jeep went through a terrible period back then ... I guess the follow up would be why they haven't brought it back? (Although, if they had it would be a luxury truck like modern day Cruisers).

Rhetorical question - I know the answer, not enough profit - buy Why oh why can't we get good, basic, capable, diesels here when they are obviously produced? Long sigh.

I kinda know the guy selling it, and he's meaning 7 1967 Patrols in AZ, not 7 Patrols...LOL. He's got 3 Patrols himself...
