    Looks like you have been having a lot of fun Rooster! I hope someone had a spare bolt so that you could get your rig home. Super cool that you have your whole family involved with your 4by4 hobby. Keep those pics coming. It makes us all want to get out and go wheeling!

    That is actually rare to see in a suburban. I have only seen a couple with manual transmissions and I don’t think any of those where stock either.

    I always thought that they quit making those somewhere in the mid seventies though.

    Nobody had a bolt that size but another group had a spare u bolt. It worked to get me off the trail and home

    14 Bolt full floating with 4.56 gears and Detroit locker
    4 speed muncie
    custom safari rack with 5 KC forward and 2 in the rear

    Last year alone I went thru 3 Driveshafts. That's why I want to change out transfer cases to a 205. Unhook it and drive it home as a front wheel drive.

    to bad on the bolt spitting out! good find on the 4 speed though. im eyeballing one right now, but the montero has to sell first. i am actually going down to run old chinamans on the 1st, and prolly carnage too. in samurai's!

    what part of town you in? making a run up to holy cross in august sometime!

    Holy Cross is a great trail, You will want to camp I promise you! Also take the hike up top to the lake, worth it. That trail offrs so much, I need to get back there again!
