bought a 1966 M416 last fall.
basic restore with new springs/shocks/shackles/etc.

1500 miles round trip to Southern Georgia for a few days in the woods with an old Marine Corps buddy

Notes:
M416 pulls great at 75mph
Texasport shower hut is good
43 qt EdgeStar- don't leave home without it
Triton Tankless heater is da bomb!

I have that same tent and love it, quick to set up and enough room for the family. nice set up, make me want to go camping!

I'm looking for similar styled storage containers
like the green ones U have

could U share the OD dimensions of those ?
I'm guessing they're on the pricey side tho'...

got a link as to where U purchased yours ?

may end up just going with rubbermaid's 35 gal as an alternative.
those are dimensionally correct to fit width wise in the lower portion of my M100's tub... and not too pricey

I'm about to pull my M100 on it's 2nd journey to Moab...
near 1,900 miles round trip.

Here's to hoping... round 2... goes as easy as round 1 did. :)

5 man arctic tent and we put 4 military cots in there- pretty comfy set up.

the military waterproof cases are Hardig utility cases 33x20x15
bought them on ebay for $50.00 each

had a couple questions regarding my setup. so here's a little more detail:

12v Battery with the BlueSea fuse box

12v HF water pump mounted under the box

(2) 12v acc sockets ( I plug the Edgestar into one of these)
(1) illuminated on/off switch for the water pump
(1) Illuminated push button for 4 Led lights mounted on each side of the trailer frame ( night lights while parked)
(1) Illuminated push button for the Sat radio receiver mounted in the battery box

could you post the dimensions of your water heater? I've looked online but they posted dimensions seem huge. I'm currently designing a trailer with a water heater and I need to make sure I have plenty of space for it. thanks

I'm not sure you'd want to use that particular pump....it's not an "on-demand" pump. It's needs to be primed every usage, or it'll burn out the impeller.

A Shurflo on demand setup suits your needs much better.

This setup here seems to be gaining popularity in the 416 gang..http://www.tractorsupply.com/-2138134

I use a pump like the HF pump you have pictured as a back up to fill my on board tank in a clean stream condition. The flat roll up hose I carry with it has a strainer to use on the stream side

Got more pics/detail of your power box there? Contemplating a similar idea for my build.
