    Hi all,

I have some news regarding my work. In the last days I have spent many hours thinking about the interiors. Finally I have started with the building of the tanks fixing.

And after that I've started the electrical wiring. My mog have a double electrical system, 12V and 24V.

Thanks for the update - looks like things are progressing nicely. Keep up with the progress report, can't wait to see how thing progress. You guys are doing things so fast - you only started at the begining of the year, and you are already ahead of my build. Are you working full time on it?

My camper box goes off to the boat builder for the interior fit out in two weeks - I have to install the wiring into the conduits and finish the entrance door/shower area before it goes - but I am travelling a lot more for work lately and have not been able to get much done on the evenings and weekends like I used to. I have also been preparing my Land Rover for a 5000km trip up to Cape York early next month - it should have been in my Mog , but I ran out of time .

Good idea about the internal air circulation of the fridge - I've been trying to figure out how to make mine work without having an opening to the outside - over here we get "bulldust" - which is a fine talcum powder type dust which builds up on the vehicles and basically gets into every opening. Caravans with fridge ventilation to the outside often end up with a build up of dust behind the fridge - one traveller told me that his fridge stopped working one day as a result of the entire motor compartment being completely blocked up with dust.

Very cool. How are you insulating against cold weather?

    Default Closed loop

    Hola Iain:

Use a closed loop cooling focus by using a heat sink to the outside, you already have a huge radiator outside: your camper skin. Use a very large finned plate attached to the skin on the inside, encase it on three sides, except top and bottom so it works as a thermo-syphon so you do not need a fan. Obviously place the fins top to bottom, not sideways. You will have to avoid insulation in that area. Fridge, heatsink.jpg

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for watching my progress.
In the last weeks we work a lot on the electrics because we want to try the MOG in Morocco next winter.

I have spent many hours working on my webasto dualtop that I have mounted on the interior of the cabin.

In the next days I want to mount two seats with air suspension, but really I don't know where I can take the air for that. I need some help regarding this issue because really i'm not a mechanic so I don't want to brake something.

I think the easiest place to tap into the air line would be the circuit for the diff lock / 4wd control that is in the centre gear nest. It would be easy to run the lines up through the gear nest, but you would have to disconnect them each time you tilt the cab, which is not really a big deal.

To do it properly, you need to run the airline all the way to the front and follow the route the air lines the brakes takes.

Hi Ian, thanks for your help!
I need a low pressure air injection ( I think 0,6 bar ) so I'have see that there is an air tap under the cabin that is useful for this application. It's ready, i need only a T piece for taking the air.
